car speaker size????
DjMarkOne	the stock speakers that came with my wrx suck ass, and i want to upgrade those mofo's. does anyone know what size speakers lay inside the door pannels???

buckeye96	Hey I kept my stock speakers for right now but ran a filter for the mids and tweeters. It sounds about 100 times better. I heard from a friend that using a spacer on the speaker makes it less efficient and might cause problems with the fit of the door panel? Anyone else?
BadKarma	I used to work for Circuit City installing pretty much anything into cars. Spacers...as long as they are flat and do not allow air to flow between the speaker and the spacer or the spacer and door, will not cause any performance problems. Whether or not there is a spacing or fit problem with the window or the door panel, I wouldn't know, I haven't worked on a new imprezza/wrx. Some car companies (actually most) use cheaper speakers with a smaller magnet. An after market speaker may have a larger magnet which definety can cause a fit problem. I would have a local car stereo business give you some advise on this. They should have a huge database on what will fit your car, at least Circuit City did. BadKarma
